Things I want to remember

These are random but I want to write them out anyway while it's fresh on my mind.

*Emma used to call herself "Monkey". When anyone asked what her name was she replied, "monkey" with a big smile.

*Emma has now learned the lyrics to Doxology. For anyone who doesn't know them, they are:

"Praise God from whom all blessings flow
Praise Him all creatures here below
Praise Him above Ye heavenly host
Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost
Amen"

Emma was singing this in the backseat the other day. I was smiling ear to ear as I heard her sing. Her lyrics were as follows:
"Praise God from whom all blessings float
Praise Him all creatures here below
Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost
Amen"

*Abby sleeps a lot during the day still. She is a good sleeper.

*At her 6 month check-up she weighed 16 pounds 9 ounces and was 26 and 3/4 inches. She has two teeth as of 11-29-07. She is sitting up by herself and is not far from crawling.

*Emma can ride her scooter that NeNe got her for her birthday really well!

*Emma has been without her paci for nearly two months now! (And doesn't even ask for it anymore)

*Emma says she wants to marry her Dad and I.

*Emma nurses her baby dolls like she sees me nurse Abby. She looks so precious when she does that and I know she'll be a wonderful Mommy some day.

*The sound of my children laughing is probably the most precious sound I'll ever hear.

*Emma says her favorite singer is Jimmy Buffett and sings along to the chorus of Margaritaville. She's becoming quite the little "parakeet". It's probably her "parrot head" Dad's favorite thing about her.

*Toys are always everywhere. Emma is impressive at how quickly she can make a room a disaster area.

*Morning is the BEST time to spend with my girls. They are both rested and in good moods.

*Abby smiles all the time. She is the happiest baby I have ever seen. She has one dimple on the left side just like my Granny.

*Emma went through a phase about a year ago when she would lick your face if you pretended to snore. Travis had a lot of fun with that one.

*When someone asks her how old she is, her standard response is, "I'm not two anymore, I'm three now."

*When we went to Silver Dollar City in November 2007, Emma insisted on riding only the number 3 cars on all the rides. She would walk around the ride until she found it and want to ride that one.

*Emma sounds like such a big girl. She now uses phrases all the time that we thought were just big sounding. She amazes us more every day.

*Emma had her 3 year well check and weighed 30 pounds and was 38 inches tall.

*I can NEVER get enough kisses from the girls.

*Abby smells SO very good. I can't explain it, she just smells like a baby and I love it.

*Abby plays with her ears when she nurses.

I know there are more things I want to remember, but have already forgotten. Maybe I can come back and edit as I remember them. I know it was all random but I needed to get them down before... POOF!
