Granny has been in the hospital with a blood clot in her leg. She is going to have a procedure tomorrow and we appreciate any and all prayers said on her behalf. Here are a couple pictures that were taken when we went to visit her.

We went to the football game last Friday night. We had a good time and the girls were pretty good.

Abby rolls both ways

At just under four months old Abby is now rolling over both front to back and back to front. She also has found her feet. It's amazing how fast they grow and change in this first year. She's also cooing a lot and blowing raspberries. Oh and she is finally laughing and it's just the best sound.

I've come a long way

I can remember back in high school it used to take me over an hour to get ready. (I'm a little embarrassed to admit that.) I am proud to report that yesterday while getting ready for church, I got myself and the two girls ready in an hour. Wow, that's progress!

Emma is potty training!!!

Phew, I never thought it would happen. We started doing the 'Naked & 75' method. The 75 is dollars to spend on cleaning the carpet haha. She's actually doing very well. She has hardly had any accidents and has even taken to cleaning out her potty chair after she goes. She of course, wants to do it all by herself.

I wanted to share my extremely good news!

Emma calls locust shells 'Crackey-Bugs'. It's too cute. This is one of those things I want to remember her saying.

My projects

I have had a renewed interest in sewing lately. I made a baby carrier called a Mei Tai. I was really pleased with how well it came out!

She was like a duck to water, she went right in and was so excited to be there.

Here she is just after we got there. She is holding her Dora lunchbox that she picked out herself.


We had just put her lunch box away in the kitchen and she was running back to the playroom


Checking things out. That door you see at the end of the hall is the door we go in to get to MDO. If you look closely, you can see Abby in her carseat on a table at the end of the hall. The door to the left is the first playroom that she was going to.


Inside one of the playrooms. This is the one they go in first in the morning. They have lunch and then go outside if weather permits and then go to the other playroom in the afternoon.


They are learning the alphabet and each week learn a new letter. They do finger painting and art projects and she has brought home papers every day. She is only going once a week on Fridays and it's St. Cecelia's Catholic church in Claremore.
