Hoppy Gordon gets a cricket

We got a frog back in the spring and Emma named him Hoppy Gordon. Here is Hoppy's internet video debut of him being fed a cricket.

Abby can slide by herself now!

Abby has learned how to climb the ladder and slide down the slide all by herself! She's such a big girl and wants to do everything her big sister does.

Abby says "meow"

Emma went to vacation bible school back in July. She had so much fun and still sings songs that she learned from VBS. This is one she learned. It goes:

Oh be careful little eyes what you see,
Oh be careful little eyes what you see,
Oh the Father up above is looking down in love,
Oh be careful little eyes what you see.

Or at least, that's what I gather the lyrics were, from Emma's singing. It may have just been Emma's version. lol

Feeding the birds at Tulsa Zoo

We went to the zoo this past week and it was a perfect day for it! We had nice cool weather and the girls just thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Abby was even a little more interactive than she has been in the past. We got to feed the parakeets and it was by far our favorite activity. $2 gets you a Popsicle stick with seed hot-glued to it. It was really fun!

The girls enjoying our nice weather

We like to play outside. Our weather has been so nice lately that it's been easy for me to say, "let's go outside and play!". Here is Emma exhibiting her new 'smile for the camera' face. Haha.

Animal Safari

A couple weekends ago, Tiff and Nate and the girls and myself went to a drive-through animal safari in Gentry, AR. It was so much fun! Emma and Nate got to pet a lemur and ride a camel, and we had the privilege to see lots of exotic animals up close. Seriously, up close. We had camel spit on our windows! I'll follow this post with more pictures since I can only upload 5 at a time.

Trip to MiMi and Papa's

MiMi with the girls. Emma of course refused to cooperate and look at the camera. On the ride home, Abby fell right to sleep and Emma watched her shows on the ipod.

The world from Emma's view

Emma sometimes takes the camera and takes lots of pictures. I think it's fun to see the world through her little eyes. The first couple of Travis and the yard and her feet are from the top of her playhouse.

Travis and I

Travis and I went to a wedding and mom took our picture before leaving. She was gracious enough to babysit so we had a kid free evening, it was nice!

Emma at swim lessons

In the later part of July we had swimming lessons again this year at Sara Shelton's house. Emma has really progressed and is almost swimming alone. Here she is before a lesson one day.

New chairs

Travis bought a patio set for our new deck and while he was at it bought the girls matching kids' chairs. Here they are modeling for us:

The look enthused don't they?
