Christmas 2006

Emma had a fantastic Christmas this year! Well, we all did but everyone knows that it's all about Emma anyway. Haha.

We had Christmas Eve at Nene and Papa's house. She had a blast peeling every scrap of paper from each gift. She would leave no piece of tape or paper unturned before she would continue on and open the gift. Very diligent! She got many nice gifts including a red piano, old fashioned sock monkey and monkey with symbols, clothing, and a one person bouncy see-saw.

Christmas morning Emma woke up to find that Santa had brought her a Dora doll that knows her name as well as various things about her day and what foods she likes, etc. Her eyes got HUGE when Dora said her name and asked if she liked Daddy. She also got some neat things in her stocking. She loved her tutu and tiara!

We had Christmas day in Oklahoma City with Travis' family and we all had a nice time with the exception of a stomach virus that ran rampant through the family. Apparantly it was something the Grinch was spreading around because people were getting it in New Mexico where mom and Mark were celebrating Christmas with his family. Two days after Christmas I got it and it was not fun to be pregnant and have a stomach bug! Yuck!

We were supposed to go to Silver Dollar City in Branson to meet up with Aunt Lois and Uncle Lewis but I did not make it. Luckily Mom and Mark took Emma and she had a blast! She even rode a ride by herself!

Well that was our Christmas in a nutshell. We are getting ready to leave in the morning to go to Crested Butte, CO for five days. I know we will have lots of neat pictures from that! I will update when we get back.
