Sleepyhead

It has been a nice Sunday. Lots of family time and housework and Trav got the lawn mowed. I snapped these pictures of Emma when she went to bed. As you may notice, she got new Dora sheets. She loves the fact that Dora is on her pillow. And, she has a mosquito bite on her cheek, poor baby.

Today (being the first day of weaning from the paci) went really well. She got fussy some, but I think it's just as much my habit as it is her's. I always know it will comfort her so I give it to her. We couldn't find it this morning before leaving for church and I decided this was going to be it.

Well oddly enough, she was digging through her toy bin and found an old paci I had tried giving her a LONG time ago. It's an orthodontic one and she refused it from the start. But, she found that today and low and behold she sucked on that thing and next thing I know she's alseep in the living room floor! Little stinker. So, her first day of weaning from the paci ended with her sucking on one she has refused all along. I guess she figured it was better than nothing. Ha!
